Every year , RENT the ROCK was seen by over 1,000,000 people and climbed by tens of thousands! In fact, Austin's 5-Day Forecast was once given while climbing our ROCK on live TV. We have made the television news from Houston to Austin to Tyler, Texas. Our picture has appeared on the front page of many newspapers too.

The ROCKs has been to numerous concerts for such bands as Vertical Horizons, Smash Mouth, Train, The Beach Boys, GooGoo Dolls, Edwin McCain, Dido, Mariah, Big Tent Revival, Skillet, Brothers Keeper, Small Town Poets, and many… many more!

  • The spire is transported by trailer... it is then stood up and leveled... the trailer is moved away... we are now ready to go!
  • Indoor or outdoor use.
  • Small area of 20' X 20' needed. Don't forget it is 23' - 25' tall (watch for powerlines)! Ground should be level.
  • 60 to 100 climbers per hour. 4 -5 climbers at a time.

  • 4 - 5 "autobelays" that are approved by OSHA connect climbers. As the climber climbs, the slack in the strong cable is taken up... if the participant falls the cable catches and slowly lowers the climber to the ground. This belay system has safety back-ups built in.
