Facilitator / Instructor Training Qualifications:
The purpose of this training is to familiarize one with the philosophy of Challenge Courses, the technical safety aspects, and the processing soft-skills associated with this experiential education field. The following criteria is established for your safety and the safety of the participants entrusted to your care:
- The minimum age requirement is 18 years of age. There must be maturity shown and demonstrated at all times by the Instructor applicant.
- The Instructor applicant must attend the entire training.
- The Instructor applicant must score 85% or higher on the written test and achieve a practical skills rating of 8 or better. (Practical skills rating scale is 1 - 10.)
- We strongly recommend American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Training.
It is a good idea that the Instructor Applicant be in good physical condition.
